Under the orders of Supreme Commander Gai, she once disguised herself as an ordinary girl to get close to a man, earning his trust through a fabricated romance before delivering him into a dangerous enhancement experiment. That man miraculously survived, becoming the sole success of "Project 23," and subsequently escaped from Ameida. Now Neina has been ordered to bring him back — but standing before the person she once betrayed, she finds that her "feelings" may not have been entirely an act.
