Nico Robin was born on the archaeological island of Ohara in the West Blue. Left by her mother to be raised by her uncle, she endured discrimination and neglect from a young age. By eight, she had passed the archaeological scholars' examination, becoming the youngest scholar on Ohara. However, the World Government launched a Buster Call against Ohara for "researching the Poneglyphs," reducing the entire island to ashes. Robin became the sole survivor, carrying a bounty of 20 million berries as she began a twenty-year life on the run. After being betrayed and exploited by countless people, she encountered Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, finally finding her true home — a crew willing to declare war on the entire world for her sake.
