Veldora is a True Dragon known as the Storm Dragon, with both draconic and human forms. Veldora meets Rimuru in a cave; they share the name Tempest and become close friends. He spent a long period sealed in a cave in the Great Forest of Jura, shaping his curiosity about the outside world. Through Rimuru, Veldora discovers manga and becomes fascinated with poses, named techniques and dramatic expression. Velzard and Velgrynd are his older sisters, and all three belong to the True Dragons.
