Mai Shiranui was born into Japan's renowned ninja clan — the Shiranui family. Orphaned at a young age, she was raised and trained by her grandfather Hanzo Shiranui. Gifted with exceptional talent, she quickly mastered the family's fire ninjutsu and fan techniques, becoming the legitimate heir of the Shiranui style. During a chance encounter, she met American fighter Andy Bogard who had come to Japan for training, and fell for him at first sight. Since then, she fights not only to protect her family's honor but also to follow the footsteps of the man she loves onto the world fighting stage.
