Background Story
Chika Takami grew up watching the school idols μ's perform, which planted a seed of "I want to shine too" in her heart. After entering Uranohoshi Girls' High School, she learned her school faced closure and decided to form a school idol group of her own from Uchiura. She persuaded her friends one by one, gradually gathering nine girls together to form Aqours. Along the way they endured the disappointment of performing to empty audiences and the blow of finishing last in the rankings, but Chika always led the charge with "let's try one more time," ultimately letting Aqours bloom with its own light on the national tournament stage.
