Background Story
Sei Takanashi was originally an ordinary office lady in Japan, in her twenties and frequently working overtime late into the night. One night on her way home from work, she was pulled into another world by the Kingdom of Slantania's saint-summoning ritual. Because the ritual accidentally summoned two people at once, she was at first cold-shouldered by the royal court — but she found her true home at the royal Medicinal Flora Research Institute. With her extraordinary holy-attribute magic and earnest dedication to research, her potions saved the sick and wounded time and again, and she gradually came to be recognized as the true Saint. Through shared trials, she and Third Knight Commander Albert Hawke came to know and love each other, and she put down roots of her own in this new world.
