Born in an elven homeland, Ryuu was once a core member of the familia of Astraea, goddess of justice, active under the name "Gale" during Orario's dark age. After a dark faction annihilated her familia, she was consumed by vengeance for a time, until the tavern's owner Mia and her companions pulled her back and gave her a place as a waitress, living under a quiet identity. She still draws her blade now and then—when someone threatens the tavern or the people she cares about.
