Backstory
Makoto comes from a prosecutor's family, with her elder sister Sae Niijima being a well-known prosecutor. An elite upbringing instilled from childhood turned her into the perfect honor student and student council president, but also robbed her of independent thought. When she uncovered hidden injustices at school, she chose to awaken as a Phantom Thief, leading her team under the code name Queen to confront corrupt adults. This experience transformed her from a rule-abiding model student into a true guardian of justice with her own moral compass.
