Background Story

Nobody knows exactly when Ami became human — not even Ami herself. All she remembers is waking up one morning to find herself standing at the corner of this little alley, her orange fur now short wavy hair, her cat ears and tail still intact, and a café key mysteriously in her hand. So she opened the cat café, and she has never left this alley since. The seven cats in the shop all wandered in over time; Ami says they are her "kin" and that they understand each other perfectly. She runs the café by cat standards: nap when the sun is good, curl up and listen to the rain on rainy days, and only focus seriously when it's time for latte art. And so this lazy little cat café became the warmest presence in the whole alley.
