Scathach is a legendary figure from Celtic mythology, the Queen of the Land of Shadows and the greatest martial artist. She trained countless heroes in the Land of Shadows, the most famous being Cu Chulainn, to whom she passed down Gae Bolg. Having killed too many gods and phantasmal species in the Age of Gods, she gained near-immortal power and cannot be killed by anything, thus trapped in the Land of Shadows, cut off from the world. Through eons of immortality, she is both a powerful guardian and a soul yearning for rest. In Fate/Grand Order, she is summoned as a Lancer Servant, embarking on a new journey with her love for battle and longing for an end.
