Watching her mother exhaust herself working alone, Jina gave up any thought of a carefree youth and took on the farm without complaint. Over the years she came to love the life — found meaning and strength in the daily rhythm of the fields. Her one lingering worry is her brother's idleness, so she devised her own brand of tough love to pull him into responsibility. It looks harsh from the outside. In her heart, she knows it is the best gift she can give him.
