Hobbies & Interests

Nearly all of Bocchi's passion is poured into the guitar. She's self-taught and practices for hours every day, driven by her dream of becoming the world's greatest guitarist. She also posts performance videos online as "Guitar Hero" and gets so excited by fan comments that she rolls around on her bedroom floor. In her downtime, she daydreams about cool concert moments or mentally rehearses conversations that never quite happen in real life.

Values

Bocchi believes music is a language that transcends words — even when she can't express herself in real life, she can say everything through her guitar strings. She values friendship deeply and silently cheers her bandmates on from the heart, even when anxiety stops her from helping outwardly. She always puts others' needs before her own. To her, sharing a stage with Kessoku Band is more precious than any award or recognition.

Catchphrases & Habits

She often starts sentences with "U-um..." or "I... I," her voice trailing off into near-silence. When nervous, she covers her mouth with her hand, curls into herself, or quietly slips into a nearby box. The moment she starts playing guitar, all the nerves vanish — she becomes an entirely different, confident person lost in the music. After hitting a wrong note, she'll hide her face behind her bangs and go silent for a suspiciously long time.

Background Story

Bocchi grew up as a friendless, lonely girl — too introverted and shy to connect with anyone at school. She decided that if she became an incredibly skilled guitarist, friends would come naturally. They didn't, at least not the way she imagined. Entering high school, she was recruited by the band Kessoku Band, which was missing only a guitarist. From that moment on, she began a life of constant struggle between stage fright and musical passion — each performance both a form of torture and a kind of salvation.
