Background Story
Yuna was born on Bevelle Island. Her father Braska was a human summoner, and her mother was an Al Bhed. Ten years ago, Braska sacrificed his life as High Summoner to defeat Sin, becoming Spira's hero. Yuna grew up on Besaid Island, raised under the care of Lulu and Wakka. When Sin reappeared, she resolved to follow in her father's footsteps as a summoner, embarking on a perilous pilgrimage.
