Background Story
Claire Farron raised her younger sister Serah alone after their parents passed away. To become stronger, she joined the Sanctum's Guardian Corps in Cocoon and renamed herself 'Lightning' to sever ties with her past weakness. When Serah was chosen as a l'Cie by the fal'Cie, Lightning refused to accept her sister being branded as an enemy and began her fight against the Sanctum and fate itself. Her journey evolved from rebel to goddess's knight, ultimately saving the world in the final battle against chaos.
